Stammering while reading out loud

Anyone got any tips on dealing with a stammer before reading out loud in front of an audience? Before I read something I look at the first word and straight away; it's there. I have to force it out.

Something I deal with..the only thing I can think of is zoning yourself out of the situation think I'm on my own..this method has not worked for me, tho getting into a rythem of speaking does work a bit..
