my ring is an usual shape and the wedding ring i bought really doesnt suit.

so i was thinking about getting the ring melted down and shaped around the engagment ring.

if there anywhere in dublin who would do this within the next month and how much would it cost?

I used Patrick Glynn on abbey street. He makes the stuff you see in the shops. He is over abbey news, just down from Easons.

I walked in with a picture taken out of a magazine and he made it perfectly.

    Check the phone book.

We had rings made at Patrick Glynn Jewellers in Middle Abbey Street - also made my mother in laws' ring back in the day...

    Great rings and service

One thing worth taking into account is that 99% of jewellers don't have a goldsmith and all repairs etc. are outsourced to someone who does so if you go to a jewellers that has a goldsmith you are obviously going to pay a lot less. Trim Jewellers in Meath is an example of a jewellers run by a goldsmith.
