If your laptop has a HDMI port you could use HDMI, if not and it has a DVI port you could get a DVI to HDMI cable. Just fyi DVI doesn't carry sound so you would need an external sound system/or use laptop speakers for sound. Also you can't convert VGA-HDMI, well maybe you can but I can't see an easy cable way as ones analogue vs digital you'd need some soft of Analogue to Digital converter

    Hope this helps

    Nick

I have a Samsung myself and on the right hand side of it, there's a USB port which you can plug a memory stick or terabyte drive or whatever you have into it. I copy all the movies, music & photos I want onto this drive, plug it in there and watch them nicely on the screen with no hassle. So have a look for the USB port and this might work for you. You could also download the manual to find out what it supports.
