Am I wrong in thinking that some of the solar powered emergncy roadside telephones have solar panels that track the movement of the sun? I could be wrong, but I swear the top of the "kiosk" where the panel fits, is in a different position when I pass it at different times of the day.

My grandfather told me of this thing in the sky he saw once. Said it was bright and gave off heat. Lasted for a few minutes and then dissapeared. Hasn't been seen since. :D

Things have got escalated with this one. There's a tenner on it. Anyone know for sure?

I doubt they'd be sun following, the energy to move the panel would eat into the stored energy of the the battery. The mechanical cost of making it track the sun would be very hard to justify.

That's what I am thinking, but I have to prove it to win me a tenner :)

They're all positioned towards the south, and that's all.
