PS3 Bluetooth headset device not being recognised?

So I got this Bluetooth Wireless Gaming Headset for Playstation 3 PS3 But my PS3 won't recognise it. My PS3 recognises my keypad and a different bluetooth device but not this. I hold the main button on the headset until its turned on. Its on, ready to be recognised./search from PS3 setting..but nothing.. I emailed them…

So I got this
Bluetooth Wireless Gaming Headset for Playstation 3 PS3

I emailed them asking what the problem may be but maybe someone here on Boards has a solution for me?
