Self-employed identification in agreements

    Hi,

I'm moving to Ireland from another EU country and going to register there as a self-employed person (sole trader, I suppose).

The question is about identifying myself in agreements.
I see there is no national identification number in Ireland although PPS is used widely.

When I register for a sole trader, will I get some other identification number? I don't plan to register for business name (which has the registration number).

When I sign an agreement what do I, sole trader, add there? Name? Passport number/birth date? Or is there some kind of identification number?

    Thanks in advance

As a Sole Trader I would think your name is perfectly adequate , you may need to obtain a VAT nnumber depending on whether you will be registered for that.
As a Sole Trader there is really no difference between you in business and as a private individual.
