How come there is a lack of 10 mile races in Dublin? Its a great distance but yet not many races.

BHAA used to do a great one in Rathcoole but now we only have the 10 mile series???

Dublin bus used to have a 10 mile race as well. Think their last one was 2007? Was on a couple of weeks before the races series half marathon.

Think that was the BHAA race?

A quick google would suggest you're right. I knew it as the dublin bus 10 mile. :)

That's the Frank Duffy one that became part of the race series isn't it?

Its was a great 10 miler.

I think 10 miles are now turned into half-marathons. They are a better sell and you only need to add 3 miles to it.

I much per-fair 10 miles. If we could find a company to put one on.. :pac:

Think in was in an article in Runner's World that said the most popular race distance is half marathon 13.1 miles. It was a surprise to me at the time as expected 10k to be the prefered distance.
