2tb hardrive

    i hook up my segate 2tb hd to my xbox and it didnt recognise it but when i hook it back to my net book its not recognised any more or any other computer in the house i have been told to reformat the hardrive but i will loose all the data, to transfer the data to another hardrive then reformat the damaged one, any idea how to do this or anything else i can do:confused::confused::confused::confused:

    Funnily enough this is the second time I've heard recently of someone plugging an external into a Xbox and it becoming corrupted. You could try using TestDisk to try fix/recover the partitions and then PhotoREC to recover it's contents.
