Ps3 controllers?

    Hey lads.

    I finnaly ordered dark souls. I went for ps3 version as I cannot be ****ed paying Xbox live for just one game I will play now and then. So I dusted off my old ps3 just now and picked up ps3 controller... I was not impressed by it.

    I wonder of there were some improved official ps3 controllers? ( I heard somewhere ) I got the launch phat ps3 so I got the first version of controllers.

    My main problem with ps3 controller is its lightness ( sounds stupid, I know ) and it's triggers. So if I was high and there is no other official controller, then maybe there is a good one third party?

    You will not "play now and again" - you just said bye-bye to a chunk of real life...:p

    As for controllers, I will concede that the triggers on the official controller are piss-poor - however I haven't found a third party controller to be overall better than them.
    There are some 360-esque type controllers, one of which I tried, however the thumbsticks just didn't feel right.

    I think the DualShock controller is heavier as well !

    Well if it annoys you that much, get the heavier dual shock controller, then put Giotek triggers on it.

    I was about to buy the trigger add-ons, when this came up as a suggestion. It basically 'fixes' everything about the controller. Makes it heavier, extends the triggers, and makes the sticks concave.

    It all fits perfectly to the controller, I can't use it without them now.

    Holy crap, that looks great. I've been in the same boat as ShadowHearth since I got the PS3 and even with the Giotek triggers it still frustrated the hell out of me. May give that pack and try and throw in the Orb thumb grips just in case. Thanks for the info! :)
