pace change since orthotics

    even do i am running pain free my pace seems to have changed since getting orthotics, cant seem to maintain the same pace as before. has anyone else had this problem or is it all in my head

    I know some orthotics makers say that you will take two steps back before you take a step forward. If you truly need orthotics you are changing your gait and as such you need to build back up to where you were. It will take time but you will get back there. Remember don't judge your pace off your easy runs its your sessions which are paramount

    Orthotics are designed to keep your foot in a certain position. Therefore, they inhibit fast running as you have much less flexibility in your foot.
