Looking on donedeal.. And i have taken to liking them for a car in the future? any idea what age you have to be before insurance companies say ok to insuring you?

Bearing in mind id only go for a type R but what are the quotes like on these bad boys?
Does anybody have one that can fill me in, what they love about these cars? Although looking at a low price for these that seem to start from 5500 up towards the heavens?
Heard the iVtec engine is nice and smooth and not too loud either :)

Before you do anything else, go get insurance quotes. It's a great car but insurance can be a killer

    great car!
    220bhp
    2.0 litre so decent tax.
Insurance is the killer depending on age, location and company.

Only advice would be, make a cup of tea, sit down and to ring around all them and get quotes.

If you do go for one, try get one as close to standard as possible, or one with sensible mods. theres certain mods that wont increase sale value, but increase the enjoyment of the car and should be tasteful.

    best of luck.

Insurance is the main goal to look at then can start looking for "The one" :P
