    The CRC page...

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=50334

..says "Two magnetic resistance levels plus no-load provide an easy transition from no resistance for easy recovery rides or warm-ups to low and high resistance for tougher workouts".

Does your model have this feature? If so, what's the resistance like compared to a decent turbo (e.g. Tacx Satori)?

    Hi Lumen,

Yes the version has this feature. To be honest I cannot give you a decent comparison to what the resistance is like compared to a turbo, I have not spent enough time on a turbo. All I can say is when it's set to level 2 resistance (hardest resistance), there is easily enough to allow the rider to get out of saddle and feel plenty of burn. Obviously you can move up and down your gears too to give you more or less resistance as well. Personally I think although the resistance levels being generated on the rollers are probably not going to be the same as a tacx turbo, you can get out of saddle, sway the bike etc the work out is pretty intense.

The rollers themselves are very stable, I have tried very sudden bursts of power both seated and out of saddle and there is no way your coming off the rollers.

Not sure if your ever around the area but you would be welcome to test them out.

If interested I can also get some pics to you.
    Thanks

    Thanks, they sound interesting.

I'll hold off making an offer at the moment as it might be insulting.

The ad is only just up and someone else might have deeper pockets...

No worries. I am not in a big hurry to get rid of these rollers, ideally I want to free up the space they use up in the utility room for new toys but I am not ready for insulting offers quite yet :D

    Hey SuperFreak,

I am based around Limerick / Clare, I would also be willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet a serious buyer. Here are some pics:-

Just wondering if the rollers are still for sale. I would be willing to make an offer prior to inspection.
    Thanks.
