Where to...Summer 2012

It's nearing the end of January which means I'm at the end of my tether already and need something to look forward to. So time to start planning the summer holidays!
There'll be a group of about 10-12 of us, all female working professionals 23-25. Nice mix of singletons and otherwise engaged. Looking to go somewhere with nice beaches and stuff to do during the day, but also good restaurants and lively nightlife... Thinking Italy/Greece/Croatia but wouldn't even know where to begin!! Finding accommodation shouldn't be much of an issue...just need a destination! All suggestions welcome!
