This OTA update now out, is 90ish mb and takes about 30min to install. The difference going from 3.1 to 3.2 is unreal and the tablet seems much faster :)

A lot of the speed increases may be due to wiping the cache as part of the upgrade which in itself would improve performance.

do you know what is in 3.2(that wasn't in 3.1)?

I've rooted my tab but haven't yet installed a custom rom, Anyone know of any good Roms, preferably without touchwiz?

Has anyone come across a stable ICS ROM yet?

I know cashe wiping can speed up a device but its lighting quick now compared to 3.1 with zero lag moving between different fullscreen apps.

Whats added from XDA and *'s are what Iv noticed as much improved....

    1) The screen is noticeably more sensitive and accurate.*
    2) Reader's Hub is included.*
    3) AllShare's included.
    3) Loaded with a ton of apps and widgets the UI's a lot more fluid.*
    4) The UStrings stays on "desktop" once it's set.
    5) The browser's less clunky.*
    5) The page top/bottom bounce has been replaced with the blue glow.*
    6) The Gallery's different.*
    7) Minor cosmetic tweaks.*

    Hi all,
I just got me a 3G Galaxy Tab today and have a Meteor SIM in it, had it in my phone before but there is no credit in it. Can I receive text messages do you know? Also, how about making and receiving calls? I know I can use Skype but can cellular calls be made and received??

    Cheers lads,
    M

PS: A message popped up from Meteor saying I would need to top up if I wanted to continue using data. That is grand but was this an SMS? It appeared in the Messaging application.....
