    Hi Guys,

I am thinking of doing my degree year in Waterford, I understand that first siemester is flexi (work experience / project / certification)

am wondering if anyone is currently on the software dev course could let me know if college has been of help with securing work experience, and could you let me know to what level java programming wise do you get to and end of 2nd year.

As in did you do much on Graphical User Interfaces / or App Development?

    any info appreciated

    tks

im in second year now and they do help you find either work experience or somewhere to study abroad. they put up jobs fairly regularly and its up to you to apply to the ones that interest you or you can contact companies yourself and arrange something.

we're doing user interface programming this semester. i really don't know how advanced we are because i haven't seen what other colleges do, you'd need to be more specific as in say what you've covered so far. its a brilliant course though.
