Bought a portable philips saorview tv last may and have it set up in kitchen. Picture perfect a good bit of the time but if you swivel the tv at all or if it in any way windy outside...the picture starts breaking up along with a high pitch sound....as if its looking for the picture...Has anyone experienced this and have any idea what the problem might be? WE have an aerial on roof (aerial that picked up tv3 on analogue)and box in attic
    Tks

whats the box in the attic for ?

sounds like a bad connection on the aerial.

Either the connection at the back of the tv is loose, or the socket on the wall could also be loose, and when you disturb the tv, it moves the cable, causing a bad connection.

The wind causing the reception to go could be down to a loose connection within the aerial or diplexer etc

    Hope it helps!
