    Hi,
Does anyone know that whether non EU residents can claim VAT for a purchase at Halfords Ireland before leaving Europe?

    Thanks..

    Not before leaving.

You need to get a VAT invoice when at Halfords and at your departure airport you need to get the paperwork done.

Your best bet might be to go to a tourist oriented shop and get the forms there.

    Thanks Victor,
That's mean Halfords offer VAT claim same as M&S or Pennys? Cheers

There is no difference in how and of the retailers operate, it is merely that tourist-orientated ones have the paperwork to hand.
