    Wireless switch location.

There doesn't seem to be any visable switches around the edge of the LT. The only thing which remotely looks like an Antennae is on the F8 switch. So Fn F8 and says the wireless is off - pressing it again does not turn it on. Anyone got any ideas on how to turn it on please? Thanks.

Right-click the little network icon in the taskbar (like a signal graphic) and click "troubleshoot problems". Should be an option there to diagnose why windows can't networks. It'll either reset and activate the wifi or give you an option to turn it on.
I had the same problem with a Toshiba before (even with the toggle switch), it tended to just turn off about once a week for no reason and that was the only way to get it back.
