Hello to all in the gardening forum,

Just a quick one to let you all know that there is now a separate forestry section on boards. It used to be tied in with the farming section so it was quite difficult to find previous posts. Anyway a lot of the previous posts are now there all in one place.

So if your looking for any information on chainsaws, firewood or trees etc., then you might find some of the previous posts of interest to you. You can just click the link below or to find it in the menu, go to "soc" and then "farming and forestry" and then "forestry".

We're currently on probation for six months so the more people that start using the forum the more likely it is to stay in place. Go on now give it a go, you never know what you might learn!;);)

    Thanks for your time

Yes up until recently people have been posting forestry related posts in the "Farming and Forestry" forum and also the "Smallholding" forum.

Due to requests from members a poll was held in the "Farming and Forestry" forum to establish if there was a desire for a separate "Forestry" forum.

So anyway the outcome of this poll is that a separate "Forestry" forum has been established.

All welcome to come and join in.

    Thanks

And to get your head around which section to post in

if its a "woodland" ;) then Smallholding may be the place, but if a forest, then definitely forestry.

There's common ground and it won't always be black and white as to where it fits best.
