So is anyone else planning on going this year or if you have in the past, whats it been like and how have you travelled?
Going over for the first time this year, had enough of Irish Festivals over the past 12 years or so,time for a change me thinks.
We might aswell use this thread for rumours n stuff too,not heard of any myself so far

Stay well away from Leeds. Is meant to be worse than Oxegen in terms of trouble.

I was working Leeds last year and was in the campsite for Sunday night, which we traditionally call the riot shift. There was absolutely no trouble at all. According to statistics, crime was down 40% from the year before.

The Leeds festival has really cleaned up it's act from what it was a few years ago when the campsite would become a warzone on Sunday nights. Some of the crazier years were much much worse than what Oxegen was but I cannot stress enough how brilliant Leeds is now. I have just put in my application to work at it this morning.

The Saturday looks legit anyway, a lot of the bands I remember being called out are there. Paramore is correct too.

I got a ticket. Not overwhelmingly good. But it'll do, has Enter shikari, at the drive in and cancer bats. Really hoping for a good lock-up stage though.

Was hoping for Green Day...instead of the cure or kasabian would have been nice, they're doing Rock En Seine in Paris on the friday so guessing they missed out :(

    Alright lineup, nothing too special.
