Etihad B777 Freighter at Dublin

    Hi All,

    I have heard that the Etihad B777 freighter will be coming to Dublin for maintenance on Tuesday 24 Jan. It is due in around 5pm from Hahn.

    Thats what i was thinking also A320. DAL don't have approval for B777 heavy maintenance, and i'm sure DAL are full in Hangar 5.
    So it must be paint!! Maybe for some special Colour Scheme or is it being sold?
    Eithad Engineering Dublin would be handling that anyhow

    It is not being sold.

    A6-DDA, was only delivered around July last year.

    EY9044 1710 from AUH 77X. But the Amiri 340 in hanger 3 is not due to depart until 26 jan? Don't know why it coming to dub,

    It is for painting.The elaborate "Etihad"title will have to be moved for some additional titles.
    Ok here is my guess re the very valid point of the Qatar A340 in the hangar now ..perhaps we could see the A340 moved out temporarily during it's painting process or else they maybe able to use another hangar as only a portion of the fuselage would be worked on.
