Replacement Charger not working!

    Hi.

I bought a charger for my VAIO on ebay there and it calved last week. I bought it with three years warranty. The seller is top-rated, but even after sending him multiple messages, he still refuses to respond to me.
Is there anything that I can do to rectify this, or just forget about it?
I can't go too much longer without it.

    Thanks boardsies!

Depends on how much you paid for it. Usually they require you to post it back to verify and you could buy a new one for the price of returning the item.

If they are outside the EU you've no hope unless good will. If they are in the EU then consumer law will cover you, but postage back will be expensive but may be recoverable.

Mathematical probability that the vendor will sort you out = (his price/official Sony price).

I left a reply to Del2005 but it isn't there now.

It was only $15 delivered, but I don't want to fork out for something that should be sorted without a fuss. The seller is UK based, and he has responded to other messages on ebay, but won't respond to me at all!
I forgot to mention that the product I bought isn't listed on his page anymore so I cannot leave feedback.

    Thanks Del2005.

Ebay e-mail support has been nothing short of shit. Told me to do the same thing repeatedly.
So I called them there and was talking to a woman.
I told her the story. She said that because it is over 45 days since the purchase, there is nothing they can do.
She also told me that the Trading Standards Sale of Goods Act only lasted 30 days after purchase, and claimed eBay were amazing for offering an extra 15 days in their buyer protection scheme thingy.

Can anyone help me? I'm pulling my hair out here! :(

Chalk it up to a bad deal, and move on. For $15 this was obviously a fake, so it's hardly surprising that it doesn't work. You won't get much help when you buy a counterfeit item that doesn't work.

Done. Don't care about the charger, just annoyed about eBay doing nothing at all.

    Thank you everyone for replying.
