Bike trails in Clare?

    Does anyone know where there are some decent bike trails were I can bring the kids?

    Clare's a big county, where are you located.
    I can suggest some trails in the Mountshannon area.
    Maybe you could contact tourist info.

    Geographic Location and Level of Ability

    Cratloe would be another good spot to check out. There's also a nice little trail outside Broadford (name escapes me), but I think it might be more suited to walkers.

    There's a riverside trail from O' Briensbridge down to Castleconnell and on to Clonlara as well, well worth checking out.

    Also, there's a million backroads with very little traffic on them, you can traverse Clare without the misery of having to cycle on a main road, the possibilities are endless and the scenery is very nice.
