I can't seem to delete a pdf file that is on a CD. I can put other files on the CD but It wont let me delete this one file and I really need to delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't delete a file of any CD other than a CD-RW, if the file needs "destroying" you'll need to destroy the disc itself :)

Why not just copy off all the files. Wipe the disk & copy them all back again. Cd's aren't like hard drives you can't move files around.

Is it true that RW disk's are unreliable in general.

Some time ago I used verbatim dvd rw disks so I could have full edit function but they proved totally unreliable and a pain.:(
