Here is a little concept I made over a few nights just for fun, on how to make an application you are using on Lion more fun and visually interactive. I used Google Chrome as an example here.

Fair play for putting this concept together.

I think you've hit on a problem that exists, but I also get the feeling that you've jumped to solution mode too quickly. If you take a step back, and brainstorm and sketch out different ways to solve this problem you'll come up with more interesting or elegant ways to solve this problem.

Sorry, Im only seeing this now.
Thanks for the feedback. Looking back on it now, I see what you're saying and agree that this can be achieved in a more streamlined and elegant way.
