    Hi

dunno if this is the appropriate forum.

I'd like to buy some Geox men's shoes however I cannot find any real bricks-n-mortar (Dublin/Wicklow area) or Irish online store that sells them, or any reference to an Irish retailer on the Geox home site.

I could buy 'em from amazon.co.uk probably, but I'd buy from an Irish retailer, if there was one.

Anyone know of a Geox (Men's shoes, not kids) retailer?

    Ta
    Liam

    Cool, thanks.

Small selection but more than none, which is all I could find before.

NP, they look failrly expensive, what distinguishes them from other brands?

They are very light, and they also have a special perforated sole and inner membrane, so they are waterproof but much more "breathable" then standard composite soles.

Don't bother. I bought a pair of Geox suit shoes in Italy for nealy 200 Euro, and they started to leak water after 2 months. The membrane is supposed to pull sweat and moisture out from the interior of the shoe to the outside, but in reality they weren't made for everyday wear.

    I couldn't agree less!.

My experience is that Geox are excellent shoes and function well at keeping out moisture. If you suffer from sweaty feet, as I do, they are the only effective solution.

I have been wearing only Geox, for about ten years now, with no problems.

Due to their construction, they cannot be repaired and retain their breathing function, however they are quite hard wearing.

Its frustrating that they are so hard to get in Ireland, since arnotts stopped doing them. When I was working, I would buy them on trips abroad.

Right now I'm looking at Amazon, or there is a shop in Belfast.
