Forming Band!!!

    I am a singer/songwriter/rythm guitarist age 31 years young
    Looking for: Lead guitarist, Bass player, Drummer
    REQUIREMENTS: Have same intentions (original band) and influences
    :To start 2nights a week and every 2nd weekend to rehearse/play
    : Live experience not essential as I have none.
    : Your own equiptment, if you want to involve your vocals same applys e.g mic
    :If in this band everyone would chip in in the event of studio time, new equiptment e.g PA
    : I write lyrics and melody, i would like Bass to input their own creative thought and drummer to rock our socks off or provide soul beats as required, lead guitarist to input with riffs and licks, in other words work as a team/band.
    INFLUENCES: VIP if you only rock pantera and that you wont fit in, we're talking RHCP, KOL, Arctic monkeys, killers, Radiohead, White Stripes, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana
    OVERVIEW: I am not professional(yet) I have no Live exp, I can provide temp rehearse space but would be looking to rent rehearsal space if committing long term, I live in Leixlip near Lucan, I can Travel.     Hi Greg. I'm also looking to form some kind of band. I've been trying to record some of my own songs the past few months but it's slow going I'd like to jam with other musicians with the possibility of forming some kind of musical collaboration. I've played in a few band before and played a few gigs, but not in a long time. I like some of the bands you've mentioned; RHCP, Smashing Pumpkins. Some other bands I like are: Fleetwood Mac, Pixies, Sparklehorse, Ramones, The Smiths, Elliott Smith, The Wedding Present, Jane's Addiction, just to name a few. I'm 36, I play both lead/rhythm guitar and bass and own both. Anyway, get back to me if you're interested. Cheers, Fred.
