Just wondering how much bigger are the files when using 1 second recording compared to smart recording? And how often would you need to delete files from the device?

Not sure about that but I found that reading and
transferring from my devices got very slow when there were about 20 activities.

I deleted them all and transfer is now quick as usual.

I found that file size were multiplied by four, or thereabouts.

With 55MB ish of storage, that's enough for 470 hours of suffering.
