Which of these two laptops would you get?

Trying to decide between these two laptops? Similar price but one has an i5 where has the other has more RAM + bigger HD. I'm thinking the i5 is better value as I can always add more RAM later and 500gm hd seems big enough, have a 1tb external hd anyway.

What do people think? How much of a performance boost would the i5 give if i wanted to play games? Just the odd one really, wouldn't be too concerned with the latest releases or anything. Or should I really be looking for one with a GPU.

    Toshiba with i5

The i5 one for sure. As you say ram and HDD can be upgraded easily later, the CPU cannot.

Definitely get the i5. 2GB and 140GB of HDD space don't have a scratch on the difference between the two CPUs.
