Toyoate Avensis Door lock

    Hi all,

    Some fine respected gentleman broke the lock of my 99 Avensis last night to gain entry as he beleived I may have had something of his. It turns I did! He took my phone thinking that it must've been his, easy mistake to make!

    Anyways, door lock is in ribbons and can't even get into now as the remote central locking on my key doesn't work so it locked and now won't open. Does anyone know how to remedy this? Locksmith to get the door open and get a repalcement lock? Anyone have an idea of cost for such a job?

    I'd say a locksmith is your best bet. You will need to ring them for a price though, they obviously have a minimum callout charge too.
