I tried a RAT 9 a while back, didn't like it. I've used an MX Revolution for years, but it recently started going on me, so I switch to a Performance MX (same-ish shape), and it's excellent. It'll track perfectly on glass, if that means anything to you.

I just find it wonderful because of the shape; fits the hand very well, and it's a very high quality mouse too.

Can the Rat 7 be configured into a left handed mouse? I been looking at the steelseries Sensei pro but it's a lot of money.

thats what i had before and it was best mouse ever! unfortunately in the middle of SC2 nerdrage i hit mouse to hard and one of the buttons sank in :(

    now using this:

its all right, but scroll wheel button is freaking very hard to press, so almost imposible to use, unless you can open wine bottles with your single finger...

i still dont get it... whats the difference...

i always bought mouses and newer ever checked if they are for left handers or right handers.

so if you are left hander, then you use your mouse with left hand?

Because, a lot of the good gaming mice are moulded to fit right handed people with the side buttons meant for your thumb. just look at the Rat 7 or the Logitec Revolution.

Sorry for dragging it so off topic, but I am getting it now.

I am left handed, but I am using mouse with my right hand, not left. It was always a standart so since I was a little gamer I used my mouse with right hand. I newer knew anyone would use it with left! ****... Every day you learn something new!

Yeah, I actual tried to force myself into using my right hand with the mouse but, it just didn't work out.

I got a CMStorm Sentinel 0G edition. Tis pretty comfy, lovely and programmable, and has a handy little OLED screen on it that can be configured to tell you the DPI you're on.

I've used an MX518, a G500 and most recently a DeathAdder (the newest version, the 3500 dpi one) and out of all of them I have to say I like the DeathAdder the best, with the G500 a close second.

I find the Deathadder extremely comfortable and it doesn't have any acceleration (at least I haven't noticed any) or angle snapping (like the MX518), its sensor is supposed to be on par with the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0, which from what I've heard is really precise.

Isn't the DeathAdder meant to be one of the best mice around

I am also left handed and have always used a mouse with my right hand, it just makes sense :P
Although I know a right handed guy that uses his mouse in his left hand, strange

I've had two of those left handed DeathAdders both crapped out on me within a month. It really turned me off Razer products.
