We are hoping to go to las vegas in October and the only way its affordable really is to book a nice bit in advance and pay it off little by little. I never book with agents and usually get pretty good deals by booking everything separately online myself.

However - i came upon americanholidays.com who actually had some really good deals and they seem to allow you book 2 transatlantic flights and 7 nights hotel with just a 100 deposit. Could this be right or am i missing something?? Does anyone have any experience with them?? Any downsides/upsides?

    Thanking you!

How can they afford to secure the flights and hotel with such a small deposit??!

It's great isn't it! I have booked with American Holidays in the past and yes, a €100 deposit secures. Pay with your credit card to give you extra cover, but you should be fine with them.

Have you priced Tour America? I find they are often cheaper than AH and a similar small deposit secures (I could be out of date, but think it is €200)

Because they are a travel agent and they have much better terms with the companies and can probably cancel for free within a certain time frame.

Try Tour America too, same deal. Ring them rather than book online for the deposit-able one.
