    What is the story with the online calculator given the VRt is now handled by the NCT Centres? Can the online quote be trusted?

    Yes it should match this. If there's extras fitted there may be more payable but if your car is the factory spec it should match.

    NCT centre assess the car, Revenue calculate the VRT.
