Enterprise Collaboration with 3rd Parties

    Hey Folks,

I'm doing a bit of research here into an enterprise collaboration tool, i.e. Microsoft Office Communicator\Lotus Notes Sametime, that will allow you to IM, File Share, VoIP chat and even video chat but that comes with the ability to "let in" 3rd parties like business partners, vendors and customers etc....

I've done a bit of research and so far I've ruled out Skype as even though it meets technical requirements, it doesn't meet control requirements. Cisco Jabber looks good and provides WebEx ability but it's not truely an IM service that we can use to communicate with the outside world. MSLync also looks like a possibilty but as we have Lotus Notes I'm not sure if we'd lose some of the benefit.

Any other ideas or comments out there?

    Cheers
