    Hi members,
Have any XC90 owners experienced issues with
    1. Car Alarm activation
    2. Water / dampness in the driver footwell
    3. Power system failure alarms (outafe
    4. Brake lights not working, cruise control not working, gear stuck in park.

These symptoms all lead to the cause which was Electronic Control Unit (located deep under the driver wiper area) called CEM
It seems from the american volvo websites that this problem is widespread and a design flaw allowing for the water to track its way into the most critical area of the vehicle.
I would be interested in any owners who have experienced this, or indeed any of the symptoms above

    Thanks
