Getting games from the US playstation store ?

    I want to buy spyro from the US store,I have a US account but was wondering can i top the wallet up with my irish credit card and buy it from there ?

    I don't believe so. I think their are websites that sell US PSN cards that you can buy with non american cards though.

    I always bought them from Ebay, jusy search for "USA PSN cards" and look for the ones that have a good rep, most will e-mail you the code in under an hour.

    Some credit cards do work apparently - try it and see.

    Buying cards online tends to be easiest. Expect to pay a premium though. A few non-Ebay and more trustworthy sites like Play-Asia do them, but there's often anything from a 20-50% mark-up, which is a real shame.

    Buying cards online is the easiest and hassle free. Was going to buy NFL Blitz today only for the stupid PSN is down again.

    I use my Irish VISA to buy US (and Japanese)content fairly regularly.

    When you are filling in your CC details use your Irish address, but when it comes to zip code, use one from the US - I use 90210.
    Your billing address has to match CC details, otherwise it won't work.

    Only buy the US PSN cards if you are stuck.

    Wait a minute you live in the same place as me !!

    I've used play Asia to get a card for the Japanese store (Holiday Inn Tokyo) just to buy Puzzle Bobble.

    Wait a minute that was on my launch model
    That died during Xmas, dammit , may fish them details out somehow .
