Said it before so I'll say it again. It's a sony advertisement. The film looks like a load of sh!t too.

Why won't they just stop making these? The last one was terrible!

Having refused to watch any of these after the dreadful first movie, I'm not sure when the films stopped even pretending to resemble the games they're based on.

Think it was probably half an hour into the first, actually.

I am actually speechless. Sony isnt even trying to maintain any pretensions of this being a trailer. This is just a means of shamelessly flaunting their new line of products.

    I am completely gobsmacked

To be fair to the films once you get past the lack of any real ties to the games they are pretty entertaining. The last one was great trashy fun and featured some amazing 3D. While I'm not counting down the days to the upcoming film I will check it out one dreary afternoon.

I actually thought the last one was a bit of harmless dumb fun. If you completely give up on expecting to see a faithful Resi adaptation it's a lot easier to enjoy them for what they are.

PS: was I the only one
looking for the 'skip ad' button
    :pac: ?

Fuck you Anderson, Fuck you Jokeavich.

Lowering the standards of cinema yet again, its like a bad dream, why are people continuing to pay 10 bucks to see this tripe?

Just download it for free if you must and force these hollywood **** to try harder...no? ok then :)

I've enjoyed all of them, I'll be checking this out.

Can we please create a forum for those solely interested in discussing cinema and leave this one to the people who enjoy both movies and cinema? :P

Tis a popcorn flick and if it's as enjoyable in that vien as the others I'll be happy ;)

I like these movies, there guilty fun. :P

What I dont understand tho is why release a trailer if its coming out in "Fall 2012" I can understand releasing a trailer for a movie like Avatar 2 or Avengers or something like that that that they want to build up hype for, but these movies are not really worth building up hype for, would it not make more sense to churn the out while there still hot.

Don't they usually appear in movie credits anyway?

i always feel sorry for RE fans.

theyre probably the one group of fans who've got ****ed over worse in their movies than the transformers fans.

at least ya got the second one.

i'll probably go see this as as others have mentioned taken on their own theyre daft fun.

i thought the trailer was quite clever, then again ive never had a problem with product placement.

In fairness, it was only really the first one that didn't resemble any of the games.

Ada's get up doesn't transfer well to live action, and your one playing her doesn't look all that great either.
