None of the big guns have yet to set foot on the track this year in terms of race meets and the build up has already begun:

Could be a very interesting match up add Tyson Gay depending on how he reacts from his surgery last year. Also Asafa Powell is going through a full indoor season could that be the missing link to his previous also ran performances though at 30 he will be an outsider to compete with the other three

Should be fascinating alright. The whole false start debacle with Mr.Bolt in Daegu has spiced this up a treat coupled hopefully with an injury-free season for Tyson Gay.
Christophe Lemaitre adds an interesting dimension to the event also. Although his best chance lies in the 200m, would be great to see beat his P.B. (9.92secs) and maybe get close to Obikwelu's European record (9.86secs).
On a personal note, I'd love to see Kim Collins make it to the final.

This is going to be a busy forum this year. :)

I see Powell is down to race, ahem, Justin Gatlin later this month over 50m.

I wonder who the Brits will have on the startline (of the prelims). What happened to Williamson and some of the others lately?

As much as I am looking forward to the single most exciting discipline of the year, I cannot relax and enjoy the build up because I keep seeing one or more of the top men getting DQd from that freaking false start rule.

The rule is there for a reason, but really, to me it is hidering progress times. If an athlete is so so so alert and concerned with not false starting, then he cannot be expected to run the race of his life. Slower reaction, tenser etc.

Williamson is back and raring to go, according to this.
