I checked flights on Ryanair last night and found that paying by prepaid mastercard means you dont get charged the admin fee so I signed up for one.
I was just checking other flights one way from UK to Dublin and select the prepaid mastercard option you get the admin charge added. I made sure the cardholder billing address was set to "Ireland"..why is the admin now getting put on?

Doesn't apply from flights originating in the UK - Ryanair now have their own prepaid card in the UK market, which is the only one that skips the fee.

Does the Dundrum PERFECT Card which is a prepaid mastercard still work to avoid paying the Ryanair admin fee of €6 each way ?

Yes, assuming the flight originates in Ireland

I purchased return flights from dublin to london on my prepay cash card only 5 days ago and i was not charged a levy for either the dublin-london or the London- Dublin leg.
Not sure if it matters that i booked them together.

    New Ryanair Card

Ryanair launches pre-paid credit card to avoid €6 booking fee

Ryanair has launched a pre-paid credit card which, it said, is the only payment method to avoid Ryanair’s €6 ‘administration fee’.

In a statement, the airline said that the MasterCard prepaid card, managed by Access Prepaid Worldwide, will replace other MasterCard Prepaid cards as the only way to avoid Ryanair’s €6 admin fee for Irish originating bookings from March 1st onwards. All Irish bookings made with any other card will attract Ryanair’s €6 administration fee, according to the airline.

"Ryanair’s €6 admin fee will not apply to any bookings made with a Ryanair Cash Passport card and there are no transaction fees for using the card at Irish and international merchants," said Ryanair's Stephen McNamara.

"So we urge our Irish passengers to make the switch to Ryanair Cash Passport as soon as possible to ensure that they will continue to avoid Ryanair’s avoidable admin fees from 1st March next.”

Also, €10 to get one, €3 to top it up. What a great deal that card is!

Some the charges on the card are outrageous unless you fly with ryanair 3 times or more a year it not worth getting.

Try applying for one of these... Is impossible.

A scan of the Internet shows similar problems also in the UK when it was launched there.

I went got prepaid mastercard and used ok before xmas, now ready to book more flights & find they charge the admin feee for it eventhough this excerpt from Ryanairs list of fees which conflicts with their t&c's

"As a special offer to Ryanair Cash Passport cardholders (UK & Italian residents only) and Mastercard Prepaid (MP) card holders (excluding UK & Italian Mastercard Prepaid), Ryanair, will not apply an administration handling fee to those customers paying by this method of payment"

with all their detail I suppose there will be contradictions, I can't find an email address to contact them with
