    WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?:D

In all serious though something like a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso might be an option

MPV? Isn't it a case of which is the least worst?

In all seriousness, a scenic could give you some electrical issues at some point. Probably best avoided. Although you will probably pick up a newer scenic for the same money as older competitors.

Galaxy and Zafira are pretty rock solid. Drove a Zafira a few times and while its do, you probably wont go too far wrong.

Maybe think outside the box here. Maybe something like a Hyundai Santa Fe or VW Touareg would fit the bill. While the Touareg is not 7 seats, it would fit 3 kiddies easily. Santa Fe can definitely be got as a 7 seater. Maybe a slightly older range rover sport could be got (with a bit of haggling on price) too

You need also to consider how you will fit all three child seats in. Not all MPVs will take all three across, leaving you either have two in the mid section and one in the back (I want to sit in the back, no I want too) or buying a whole new set of seats €€€€€€€. Not really a problem when you have two forward facing seats and an infant seat but when down the line you have three forward facing seats.

I have a VW Caddy life, yes pig ugly but takes three seats abreast, sliding rear doors and no knocking your head off the roof as you lean in and out.

Never, loose it in a car park either, easy to spot.

You will fit 2 booster seats and one baby in the middle row of a C4 Picasso 7 seater- the three seats slide independantly of each other. That leaves the huge boot free for the buggy. Its also very economical on diesel.

Assuming its the first gen, the sliding doors are fantastic for access, its pretty damn good to drive but you'll struggle to get 3 child seats in the middle row of seats because it's really 2 full size seats and a tiny middle seat, the back row isn't really suitable for child seats either and luggage space is almost non existing with the back seats up, think of it as a 4 full plus 3 occasional seater. We've got a Grand Scenic for a few years with no stories of woe to report despite what a man in a pub will tell you, it has 3 full seats in the middle row so a 5 full plus 2 occasional seater and has a reasonable boot, better than the 5, zafira, verso, etc... with the back seats up, but maybe a little less than the grandpicasso.

As a owner of 3 (three) Renault Espace and lately got a Grand Espace ,i can say that i am not seeing me getting another MPV for the next 5 years (when my kids will have their own kids).Quiet happy that Renault won't produce the next Espace for Irish market !!!

I do know the feeling of owning a "French Car",i don't know why is this repulsion against them (possible down the history path) but if i have problems i know that they will cost me less than a brand car and it can be fixed by anyone ! I have friend that got an X5 and to replace a lamp is around e250 per box delivered ! Also, imagine yourself been let go by a brand car ...

Went in the car parks around, lots of Renault Cars...it not gives me a social status like the 'brand' cars but has all options found on the big name cars at a more acceptable price !

    The Grand Espace drives well,perfect safety,big,huge,good visibility,automatic gearbox,cruise control,panoramic roof,nice dashboard,strong/thirsty engine !
Lot of luggage space, with or without moving the last row of back seats !
Plenty of inside space for kids,if you remove the middle seats, making 2-1-2,in the back is like kids are having their own playground on the go !

The best period to buy a Renault is after 3-4 years,as the price is almost 30-40% of the original value...my Grand Espace costs new around 60k ,got it at a fraction of the price ! Never buy a brand new car,i can live without that smell...even if i have to pay a full e100 vallet after i purchase a second hand !

    Two friendly advice:
1.The best non-trouble given car is the one kept in the back garden ,well covered and with the doors locked !!
2.Never listen to your friends advice ...

    Good luck...

The EGS box on those is terrible, I'd avoid the auto version.

We had similar quandry late last year, at the end of the day we went with a S-Max and all good so far, loads of room and with a growing family and all the bits and bobs that go with it that's a good benchmark.

Have you considered a Fiat Doblo 7 seater 1.3 multijet

Expect to get criticism here but ask anyone who has one and they will praise the 1.3 Multijet its a amazing small diesel that's versatile, very reliable, with low service costs and 50 mpg

Like most cars now, you can pick them up very cheap - example http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2784870

I bought an '07 one last summer. 1.8 petrol. Nice drive, sliding doors are a great advantage un/loading kids in a car park.

Rearmost seat row folds flat so plenty of space.

We only have 2 kids though, so not sure about 3 child seats across the middle row of seats, you may need one of the rear seats up. But not sure, it maybe be doable.

Recommend go have a look at one or two.
