if person has insurance for car, can he drive other car?
I need practice between my EDT lessons, and I thought if people I know wont let me use their car for practice, what if I bought some cheap 300 euro car, give it to them to drive it off somewhere where there is no people so I can practice. Or that wont work?

Hi not clear what your intention is from the 2nd part of your comment but on you're initial question, if a person has comp cover on a car they will normally have third party cover to drive other cars, known as third party extension. They would need to check wording of policy to be 100% sure that they have this cover. Third party extension woud not normally apply if you had comp insurance no one car but actually drove another car for majority of the time. It should only be used on occasional times or as an exception.

And third party extension usually does not apply to learner drivers
