Emergency Taxed - P21 says 'Under Payment'

I was emergency taxed for pay period 11 and 12.

Finance advised that due to the time of year I would need to wait till the new year and then seek a P21 to claim back the tax.

Did that, it states that I owe €400 (top be deducted from my 2013 tax credits). I had to enter my pay and tax from this employment but I got those figures off finance.

Could anyone enlighten me?, I'm mostly perplexed?

    Thanks.

Perhaps they gave you the gross rather than taxable pay figures. The best thing to do is send either your 2011 p60 or your final payslip for 2011 into Revenue, and get them to check it for you.
