Hello, first post from a long time lurker. I am upgrading my Mavic Aksiums and am considering either Ksyrium Elites, Campag Zonda or Fulcrum Racing 3. All three can be bought for the same price. I would appreciate any experiences or recommendations to help with my choice.

I have the Zonda and I would buy them again. Great wheels, with ok weight for the price . I have done more than 10k on them and I only had to slightly true them once. I now seem to need new bearings, but they are still holding alright. I think the 2012 version is around 1550grams.

I have two pairs of Fulcrum Racing 3. I have done over 12,000K on the older pair, absolutely no problem, that's why I bought the 2nd pair. By the way, I weigh close to 100k.
I think, there about the same weight as the Zondas. Fulcrum are made by Campag., as far as I know.

I've a pair of Shimano RS80 C24's that are about the same weight but a little cheaper than the elites. Very happy with them so far. They use the same rim as dura ace 7850's with ultegra level hubs.

I have the Zonda and think they are a great wheel. There would be nothing between the Zonda and the Fulcram performance wise,so I'm told.I was upgrading to the Fulcrams 3 but the bike shop were out of stock. They recommended the Zonda. They weren't wrong.

Been riding Zondas for the past four and a half years and I'm about to replace them as the rims are getting very worn. Great wheels in my experience, since they're quite stiff, rarely go out of true and like most Campag stuff, very serviceable. I'll probably end up buying another pair.

+1 on these. A really good wheel with super light rims. You can get tyres on and off with your hands unlike some I could mention.

You can pick them up for around £300.

Thanks to all for the replies. I was inclined towards the Zondas so was glad to see nothing negative about them.
