Just a few basic questions for you all if you don't mind.

If you receive a summons to be at a certain court on a certain day at a certain time, is it likely you'll be seen at said court/day/time, or could you be waiting around for a while?

How do you address the judge?

What is the process for a general driving offence and how long would it normally take? Do you 'take the stand' or do you just stand there for 2 mins while the judge tells you how many points you get and how much you have to pay?

    Thanks. :)

It depends on the court and how long the court list is. It is likely you will be seen on that day but it could take a while.

    Address him as Judge.

You stand at the top (Just watch where all the other accused stand) and give your plea. If you are going to give any evidence you will be sworn in.
