We all know that managers of inter county football & hurling
were well paid by their respective counties but will the
Government go after them & outstanding taxes?

I should hope so, what gives them the right not to pay taxes when everyone else does.

Our club manager gets €80 a session tax free, 2 training sessions and a match is €240 p/w tax free. It's madness, the GAA will never be able to stop it so I think they should try and control it by regulating it.

If you think it's madness you could inform the Revenue Commissioners. Just a suggestion

I've no problem with a thread discussing the merits of paying managers but not in the way this thread has started off.
