    Yep should work fine. You may need to enter apn settings on the android phone to get the Internet to work.

    Also, you'd probably have to unlock the android phone. Should be easy to do for free - check xdadevelopers.com for rooting and unlocking instructions

    Your networks should give ye new sims for free with no change to contracts too if you don't fancy cutting hers/buying an adapter for yours. Of course having a microsim in an adapter means you can use somebody else's iPhone easily if you need to borrow a mobile.
