    Hello

My mother is looking for a laptop with a budget in the region of €450-500.
I know good bit about laptops and computers, I just want to see if anyone knows of any really good deals in this price bracket.
Dell & Tosihba latops to be avoided if possible.

    Thanks

    Why avoid Toshiba?

I have prior experience with their laptops in the €500 range; cooling issue and the type of plastic chosen for the case was poor. This is not to say that all Tosihba laptops have these issues.

I hear you but in the €500 bracket most case plastic won't set the world on fire.

The plastic didn't go on fire, it was just a poor material.

Ha ha I was referring to poor looking plastic in the €500 bracket, not going on fire.
