I have one of these receivers (about 6 years now). Today when I went to switch on I discovered that there was no channels on the display. There appears to be power to the unit (there is a red light on the display). I have switched off & on, unplugged and restarted etc. Still no channels on the display. Checked the batteries in the remote, all ok there. The TV is working and is receiving local channels, so has anyone any idea what I should do next! I had a spare receiver and gave it away a month ago! Typical.

Normal startup is that the red light comes on and stays on, you get "ON" displayed on the display, which then quickly disappears, display remains blank for 4 or 5 seconds, followed by the channel number displayed, eg "P001".

You've tried just about everything I would have tried. Could be that something inside has given up and failed. If it was mine, I'd be opening it up and seeing if anything inside looked burnt or leaking.
