    I have a netopia router but evertime the phone rings and is answered the internet goes off for a few seconds:mad: Any idea how to fix this problem?

    Make sure the router and every device (Sky box) and phone in the house has a filter

    Just checked and both the sky box and router have filters :confused:

    make sure the DSL lead from the router is going into the DSL side of the splitter & the phone + sky cable are going into the phone side.

    By the sounds of it that's what's wrong, same thing happen in our house too when we got broadband in first

    Get call waiting disabled on your line, this used to cause lots of issues

    I think you have to ring up eircom to do it
