Well, what are you looking for?

The reason I ask is because the term 'Holographic' is thrown around an awful lot, where people are referring to the EOTech style of sight. In Airsoft terms it is NOT a Holographic sight, but your run of the mill RDS (Red Dot Sight).

Proper holographic sights will run you back approximately €200+ euro.

Similarly, are you looking for a proper ACOG (i.e. magnified), or a RDS ACOG? Once again, proper magnified ACOG's will run you back €100+, whereas the real steel ACOG's are quite a bit more (add another zero ;) )

    Realistically it depends on:
    - Indoors/Outdoor play (Magnified = not ideal indoors)
    - Aesthetics (what do you prefer the look of)
    - Eye Relief (no point in getting one if you can't look at it)

what Kev said :P. I had an Eotech (airsoft one of course :P) on my SCAR-L for a day when i was at a site, it wasn't mine so had to go back to owner at the end of the day but it looked really nice, any sort of smaller reflex sight i personally don't like on a SCAR, the rails are far to long so you need a long-ish sight otherwise i find it looks a bit out of proportion. I think it was an Eotech 552 not too sure though, I had an acog on it too before i sold it and it did look nice but the eotech looked nicer. Not all retailers let you do this but ever think of bringing the SCAR along and asking to see if you could test the look of the two sights in the SCAR?
